THE SECRET

Exhibition
May 5 - 28, 2017
YGREC Gallery - Les Grands Voisins, Paris

Conceived as a culmination of the program "Exposing Research in Art," the exhibition "The Secret" beckons us to interlink the questions of the exhibition with those of secrecy, as if the goal were to bring into view that which is unknowable or confidential, even incomprehensible or that which cannot be spoken. Thus, without being able to specify what the secret's name is, the exhibition proposes an exploration of its forms as well as its effects: from individual identity to intimate dreams, traversing family histories or those of grand narratives and state secrets, all the way to the hermeneutics inherent in the deciphering of artworks.
